Outdoor screenings of Shakespeare classics around the city of Athens, Greece.

British Council is joining forces with the Athens International Film Festival and the British Embassy in Athens to present a slew of titles from our amazing Shakespeare Lives in Film touring package.

The Athens Open Air Film Festival screenings, which are all free to the public, will be hosted in a variety of venues around the Greek capital from late June through to the end of August.

Highlights include Laurence Olivier's Henry V (1944) screening alongside the Acropolis and Douglas Hickox's Theatre of Blood (1973) presented in the courtyard of the Neomismatic Museum.
