Short Support Scheme 2016 launch event
15th September 2016
The 2016 launch of our Short Support Scheme will include film screenings, guest speakers and drinks and dancing.
British Council is hosting a night of talks, shorts, drinks and music to kick off this year's Short Support Scheme.
Industry experts offering an overview of the short film landscape include Matimba Kabalika of BFI NET.WORK, Ananda Pellerin of Nowness, Edoardo Panizzo of Coffee and Cigarettes, Jo Duncombe of the ICO and Philip Ilson of the London Short Film Festival.
Then we'll screen short films that have travelled around the world with the support of our travel grant scheme:
Jus Soli by somebody nobody
Home by Daniel Mulloy
Stems by Ainslie Henderson
Love is Blind by Dan Hodgson
Copycat by Charlie Lyne
The Last Resort by Stephanie Blakey
Limited tickets are available for the public, you can book here.
