BAFTA SHORTS 2013 on tour
BAFTA 2013 nominee, Good Night
We're delighted to offer a selection of the best UK shorts, nominated for a 2013 BAFTA, to both UK and international audiences.
Working closely with specialist distributor the Independent Cinema Office (ICO), this is the first time that BAFTA has organised a theatrical release, championing British-based talent across the UK. As the programme makes its way across the UK, British Council is able to offer a selection of the nominated films to international partners via our offices in 110 countries.
BAFTA Shorts 2013 will open on Friday 12 April at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, followed by a UK-wide roll-out and international tour.
Films in the selection include Fyzal Boulifa's multi award-winning Moroccan-set The Curse, London Film School graduate Muriel d’Ansembourg's Good Night, and Best animation winner Will Anderson's The Making Of Longbird.
To find out where the films are playing in the UK now check www.bafta.org - and we'll be posting details here shortly as the films begin their international journey.
