Dear Child
Synopsis
Paul (Paul Woodson), a disillusioned photojournalist fresh from a conflict zone, has run away to paradise come to terms with becoming a father in a war-torn world. He is encouraged to take up his camera one more time by aide worker Koloami (Jessica Cores) to help an orphanage in the Northern suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. Through the kindness and strength of the local community in the face of daily struggle, he rediscovers his hope for life and for his child.
The film is structured around a letter that Paul writes to his unborn child which is told in voiceover.
