Synopsis

In the 1960s soul singer Geno Washington was a young, black American GI based in East Anglia coping with racism amongst his fellow airmen. Returning to Suffolk after an absence of 40 years he tells the story of how blatant racial abuse didn't stop him discovering his exceptional talent.
