Want to become the director of a major festival? Or the CEO of an internationally renowned venue?
The Independent Cinema Office (ICO) is looking for eight participants to take part in a bespoke leadership programme giving the tools to take on the top jobs in the film industry. Women currently only occupy 4% of the CEO and director level roles in exhibition and tis programme is designed to change that ratio.
Over a six month period, participants will take part in skills development workshops, work shadow placements, and intensive one-to-one coaching and mentoring from some of the best in the business, including the top figures at BAFTA, BFI and Picturehouse Cinemas, and British Council's own Director of Film, among others. The programme is supported by Creative Skillset’s Film Skills Fund, which is funded directly by industry through the Skills Investment Fund (SIF), as well as by the National Lottery via the BFI.
Full details available here - and deadline for applications: 4PM 19 October 2015.
