  • slideshow_large

Glen Dearing

Synopsis

1928, D. H. Lawrence is a man fulminating against the dying of the light. In a series of vivid moments Lawrence presents the personalities and events which shaped his early life and his sexuality. His memories; a mixture of pathos, passion, and rose tinted reflection that culminate, finally, in the preciousness life itself.
A complex and self-contradictory character, out of step with his background and education, Lawrence is revealed as a man of song with a gift for mimicry as well as profound story-telling with an ability to challenge the sexual mores of his generation.
