Creative England
The Government has made changes to its support of the creative industries in the UK. As part of the changes Creative England will be the new organisation with the remit to support the creative industries across England. The eight regional screen agencies listed below will work together to create Creative England. Three main hubs have been proposed Creative North (Manchester), Creative Central (Birmingham) and Creative South (Bristol).
Creative England will publish their long term business plan in September 2011 and should be fully operational by October 2011. In the meanwhile the existing screen agencies will continue to operate. Please look at Creative England’s website for further information and news.
