Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS)

The DCMS aims to to help make Britain a highly creative and exciting place to live, visit and do business.

The DCMS is responsible for funding and formulating policy on UK Arts. This includes the oversight and funding of the UK's main film organisation, the British Film Institute, who receive annual core grant-in-aid and income from the National Lottery to distribute.
