About

Mathilda Manley-Lewis is our Travel Grants Coordinator, responsible for administering our Travel Grant Fund, supported by BFI National Lottery funding in partnership with BFI NETWORK and the BFI International Fund.

Before joining the Film team, she was based in Cardiff working with British Council Wales, as a Project Support Officer, and Arts Manager.

Mathilda's background is in music. She was classically trained in piano at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and she continues to perform in restaurants and at weddings and other events. Before joining British Council, she was an appointed Oxjam Festival Manager, responsible for organising and managing a multiple venue music festival in Cardiff, to raise funds and publicity for Oxfam GB, alongside showcasing up and coming local artists. She also interned with Good Soldier Records, and BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
