Calling international participants for Sheffield DocFest’s Storytelling in Gaming: Challenge Lab 2026

Alternate Realities is Sheffield DocFest’s immersive XR strand. In 2026 the programme is centred around the documentary and storytelling possibilities of gaming multi-worlds, which act as meeting spaces for many different communities. The British Council is supporting creatives from ODA countries to attend the lab, develop a prototype, and present to an audience of key industry figures at the Alternate Realities Summit.
