NXT:now - new funding available for UK/Germany collab projects
In 2029, the UK and Germany will be staging a major celebration of the relationship between both our countries. To get ready, we are happy to announce a new grants programme now open and looking to fund collaborations between cultural organisations in both UK and Germany.
Called NXT:now, the programme supports ambitious artistic collaborations between cultural organisations in the UK and Germany that particularly explore the challenges shaping the lives of young people aged 18–30 today.
Alongside Dance, Music, Theatre, Performance, Poetry and Fashion projects, we're looking for film, immersive and games organisations to get involved.
Funding of up to £20,000 per partnership is available.
NXT:now asks how this generation can build resilience through new forms of creativity, community, agency and care in an increasingly digital and unstable world.
We welcome project and programme proposals that explore, reimagine or transform young people’s relationship with the digital realm, respond to the impact of local and global instabilities, or tap into the creative and transformative power of youth culture.
Full information about eligibility and how to apply is available on our NXT:now website in English and German, along with funding guidance and other useful resources.
