City of Film Competition, Into Film

Calling intrepid young filmmakers in the UK and Nepal: we want you to tell us about your city! Into Film, in partnership with the British Council, is hosting an exciting documentary competition celebrating the UNESCO Cities of Film: Bradford, Bristol, and Kathmandu.

We're inviting students (aged under 18) to showcase what makes these cities unique - from rich history and culture to green spaces and diversity. Ten winners will be selected with each receiving a special certificate and ALL of the winning documentaries will be screened at a big-screen celebration cinema event in Kathmandu, Nepal, organised by our partners, Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF).

The deadline for submissions is Monday 30 September 2024. Films can be made on mobile devices or cameras and should be no longer than 5 minutes.

Find out more on Into Film's competition page and good luck!
